About Me

I am an accredited social worker with extensive experience working in a remote desert region of Central Australia, where I supported individuals navigating complex trauma and mental health issues. I am now based in Hobart/Nipaluna. These professional experiences, combined with my own lived journey, deeply inform my approach to therapy.

Long before I became a therapist, I was a client, and I have been on both sides of the chair. My own experiences shape my approach, allowing me to connect with clients in an honest and relatable way. I strive to create a therapeutic experience that feels affirming and deeply validating while ensuring each session helps you feel a sense of progress and purpose. I value your time and energy and aim to support you in moving closer to your therapeutic goals with every step.

As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I bring an inclusive, affirming lens to my work. I’m also an ADHDer, which gives me a unique understanding of neurodiversity and the creativity and flexibility it often requires.

Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me exploring the great outdoors or at home, cuddling with my cats, both of which help me stay grounded and recharged. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

My style

I believe that you're more capable than you think.

Life’s challenges are like personal mountains, each unique to the climber.
We’re all scaling our own peaks, and from where I stand, I can offer a fresh perspective on yours. My goal isn’t to “fix” you but to walk alongside you, providing insights to help illuminate your path.

We’re all human, neither broken nor perfect.
Our first session is about understanding your experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll explore therapeutic approaches that resonate with your needs and begin crafting a collaborative treatment plan, equipping you with the confidence and tools to move forward.

What sets me apart?
If you feel overwhelmed by what lays ahead, know this: it can get better. You don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here as both a therapist and an ally, committed to helping you find clarity, strength, and ease on your journey to a life that sees you thriving.

My guiding principles

Inclusivity and Diversity

We welcome clients of all ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, professions, and relationship structures with open arms and respect.

Trauma-informed

Prioritising safety, understanding, and respect to sensitively navigate and support your healing journey.

Self Determination

Guided by you, shaped by me. Placing control in your hands for a collaborative therapy journey that truly reflects your needs and goals.

Non-Pathologising Approach

Some of us wear labels with pride, while others do not. Regardless, I am here to celebrate and support you as a person. I see you as capable and resilient in responding to life’s challenges.
